In this wise and compassionate guide to a new kind of spiritual wholeness, my eyes were opened to an intriguing possibility: What if there are no mistakes? What if, each time we make a decision, there is one version of ourselves who takes each path? What if we do get to experience it all? And what if there is a way to bring our various selves together? Near the end of the book the author quotes Ralph Waldo Emerson, and this certainly sums up my experience: “The mind, once stretched by a new idea, never returns to its original dimensions.”The author shares her own painful spiritual journey of turning away from her spirit, or higher self, and how she made her way home to herself through an intensive practice of meditation and journaling, some of which she shares with us. As a reader I felt grateful for her willingness to be vulnerable and open so that she could share the truth of what she learned with us. I feel changed by reading this book. In a few places, I was moved to tears, such as when she shares about her 9/11 experience (p. 64) and her experience of comforting another version of herself that she shares in the epilogue.The book also immediately helped me see that mistakes I have made in the past have brought me to the place I am today, open to the guidance of such a wise book. If I hadn’t made the mistakes, I might not be open to deeper awakening. I also want to give the author credit for making the mysteries of the multiverse and quantum physics accessible to someone who has little or no experience with those concepts. I followed along easily, and I suspect it was not an easy task to distill such ideas into something understandable for a layperson.The author offers a Dimensional Wholeness Guide at the end of the book so that you can make your own journey of discovery. I intend to use it. Even if you are skeptical of such ideas, I encourage you to give this book a try. In the end, it’s all about Love, and who couldn’t use more of that?
